NYC-based video for artists, events, & businesses

I help music artists, event planners, and local businesses grow their online presence by producing authentic, engaging video content.

Digital platforms are fast-changing, and what worked yesterday won’t work today. I partner with ambitious creators who are eager to find and connect with their audience.

My Process

Creative Development

You have a story to tell, and we’ll prepare content that is built to grow your brand while still feeling authentic to yourself.

Pro Video Production

Video content is shot in 4K UHD quality, including with a cinema camera and additional resources based on project needs.

Post-Production Editing & Color

Editing is always done with careful attention to detail in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve Studio.

Delivery & Feedback

You deserve content that you love without compromise. All projects allow revisions, and finals are ready-to-post.

About Me: David Hood

Based in NYC, I am a full-time videographer and filmmaker. Primarily, I work with music artists, event planners, and local businesses to create branded content and build online communities. My portfolio consists of over 75 film and video projects, including over 50 as videographer or cinematographer. Clients include IWFS.org, Jessica Andrea, Ciaooo! Media, Israa Nasir, Cus Campbell, ROM COM, Emergency Tiara, and many more. I love to travel and am available for video shoots within the U.S., as well as editing & color grading internationally, which I complete remotely.

I earned a B.A. in film studies and physics from Wesleyan University, where I wrote, directed, and edited Pancakes, a 12-minute scripted short film. While at Wesleyan, I also interned in unscripted television and independent film, including for HGTV’s Rico to the Rescue (Season 2), which is now on HBO Max.
